SMS Program & Consent

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Toferon (a product of Sholar Solutions LLC) is a scheduling and operations platform for field-service businesses — cleaning companies, home-service providers, and trades. On eligible plans, those businesses can send service-related text messages to their own customers through Toferon. This page describes that messaging program: what is sent, how customers consent, and how to stop messages.

What messages are sent

Notifications about booked work only — for example, an “on my way” text when a technician is heading to a scheduled appointment. No marketing, promotions, or messages from anyone other than the business serving the customer. A typical message:

Hi Sarah! Mike from Sparkle Cleaning is on the way now. See you soon! Reply STOP to opt out.

How customers opt in

Phone numbers reach the platform in exactly two ways, both requiring consent:

  • Online service request. Each business has a public booking page where customers can request service and optionally provide a phone number. Consent language is displayed directly beneath the form — purpose, message frequency, rates, opt-out instructions, and a link to the privacy policy — as shown in this capture of the live form (example workspace):

  • Verbally at booking. Customers who book by phone or in person give their number to the business directly. The form where staff record it instructs them to add a mobile number only when the customer has agreed to receive service texts.

Providing a phone number is optional and never a condition of purchase. The first text a customer receives includes opt-out instructions.

Program disclosures

  • Message frequency varies with service appointments — typically one text per scheduled visit.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on the carrier and plan.
  • Opt out any time — reply STOP to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Customers can also ask the business serving them to remove their number.
  • No marketing sharing. Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio), solely to deliver the message.
  • Support[email protected].
